Based out of the Baltimore metropolitan area, M2 Volleyball was founded to provide quality technical training to athletes from as young as 9 years of age through to our college bound athletes. Our training is built on years of experience in making athletes successful on the county, region, state, and collegiate levels. We provide our athletes with a solid foundation to the sport of volleyball, and help them pursue their aspirations of continuing to play through to the collegiate level. M2 Training was founded by Michael Rainbow and Monica Owensby, and both head coaches provide over two decades of success as well as numerous Coach of the Year awards, Gatorade Player of the Year accolades, All-Metro & All County Players of the Year, All-County, All-Region, and long history of collegiate athletes at the Division 1 level. Our goal is to make our athletes the best that they can be, and to inspire those training in our program to reach for the next level and be better than they ever thought possible. We provide an intense training regiment focused on all of the aspects in making an athlete an elite player such as physical strength/agility,vertical training, mental strengthening, proper eating regiments, technical training, and high intensity camp environments.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: 

  1. We ask that if you are sick or have been feeling ill that you no attend training
  2. We will follow all COVID regulations are set forth by the CDC Guidelines for exposures, quarantine, and protocol.
  3. We ask that everyone continue to follow spacing guidelines and use proper hand sanitation in the building.

Court Rental Fee– $60 per hour (Sports world).

  • **All court & coaching fees will need to be prepaid through Check or Cash only**
  • Court fees are non-refundable unless your lesson is cancelled by a member of the coaching staff.
  • Court fees are reflective of our facilities- not M2 inflation.

Technical Training Schedule- 

  • Tuesdays 5-9pm (beginning May 13th)
  • Thursday 5-9pm (beginning May 15th)

Technical Training Rates

  • All sessions will combine the coaches & court fees. If there is more than one athlete in a session the court fee will be split equally as listed below.
    • Individual- $60 per hour ($120.00 total per athlete)
    • 2 Athletes- $55 per hour each ($85.00 total per athlete)
    • 3 Athletes- $50 per hour each ($70.00 total per athlete)
    • 4 Athletes- $45 per hour each ($60.00 total per athlete)
    • More than 5 athletes- $50 total per athlete

Camps

  • Positional Camp- (cap 36 athletes)- June 30-July 3-$250.00 –Sports world (9505 Berger road Columbia, MD.) 
  • SUPPLEMENTAL REGISTRATION FORMS:
  • 4 Days (M-TH): Hitters/Defense/Setters
    • 9am-3pm
      • This camp is focused on Athletes from incoming Freshmen through Seniors in High School who are on an advanced playing background. Applicants should include their previous playing experience.
      • Each day will have courts focused on each skill set- setting, defense, and hitting. Each group will have the opportunity to work with each coach.
      • Athletes will need to provide their own lunch each day and will have a lunch break from 12pm-1pm.

High Intensity/Pre-College Camp- (cap 24 athletes) July 28-August 1st!! $300.00 –Sports world (9505 berger world, columbia, md.) 

  • SUPPLEMENTAL REGISTRATION FORMS:
  • 5 Days (M-F): 9am-3pm
    • For Junior/Senior athletes & pre-college advanced athletes. This camp is for all positions, and is by approval only. Underclassmen may apply and be accepted upon approval of skill level.
    • This camp is focused on Athletes from Juniors through Seniors and Pre-College athletes who are on an advanced playing background. Applicants should include their previous playing experience.
    • Each day will focus on fast paced drill activity, and specialized focus points for those athletes pursuing a collegiate playing opportunity.
    • Athletes will need to provide their own lunch each day and will have a lunch break from 12pm-1pm each day.

It’s hard to believe but the 2019 Training Season will soon be upon us! We are pleased to release our dates and times for our upcoming camps:

  • Positional Camp: July 15-19 (9am-3pm)

    • Setters/ Defense/ Hitters

  • High Intensity Camp: July 29-August 2 (9am-3pm)

    • By invitation only for athletes below grade 11

    • Geared toward 11th grade through College athletes

  • High School Clinic: August 5th & 6th (9am-12pm)

    • Final preparations for HS tryouts
